Join us for our annual Trick or Treat Halloween event from 4-6pm on Thursday October 26th. The museum will be open to families and the museum and the Chanute Public Library hand out treats to all little ghosts & ghouls who attend.
Our new Special Exhibition Opening Sept 30th includes fiber art and artifacts from around the globe, plus photos of the artisans who made the pieces when possible. Most of the pieces are from our stored collections, and they are highlighted by modern examples and loans contributed by museum staff and volunteers.
