The museum owns the rights to the majority of surviving photos and films produced by Martin and Osa Johnson, as well as other artists and explorers whose works are in our collections. Our museum, as a non-profit organization, relies in part on licensing revenues to offset the expense of caring for archival photographic and film materials. Licensing fees and agreements vary based upon the duration of images and footage licensed, the nature of the work in which they will be included, and the size of the audience the work is expected to reach. For permission to use or reproduce information or to license material for use in films, television programs, books, or other projects, please call our museum staff at 620-431-2730 or email us at osajohns@SafariMuseum.com us for further assistance.
