Southern Spain will be shared in photo and story by Carolyn & Steve Hatcher of Liberty, Mo. Carolyn is a native of Chanute and she and her husband, Steve, both worked for Trans World Airlines for a number of years, and traveled the world during that time. Although TWA was bought out, they both still travel extensively, averaging one trip outside of the US every year, doing their own research and trip planning, and traveling independently rather than part of a tour.
In May 2017, they spent 15 days traveling in Spain. They will share stories and photos of their time in Madrid and Andalucia, including Seville, Cordoba, and Granada, highlighting the best things to see and do in these areas.
This program is FREE but seating is limited. Doors open in the 2nd floor Johnson Gallery inside the Safari Museum at the Santa Fe depot at 6:45pm with program to start by 7.
